About

Hey! Welcome to my humble blog, The Book and the Bone. I’m Brigitte, a 19yo English and prehistoric archaeology major at the lovely University of Geneva. The main reason I started this blog is because I love reading and my group of friends just doesn’t read the same books I do, so I have no one to talk to about the feels!

  1. Hi there! I randomly stumbled on your blog. 😂 Anyway, can I just say:

“The main reason I started this blog is because I love reading and my group of friends just doesn’t read the same books I do, so I have no one to talk to about the feels!”

SAME HERE!!! I love them but I can’t always expect them to share all my interests.

Also, your blog is really lovely and I hope we get to have book-related discussions in the future! 😊

    1. Oh thanks so much! You’ve totally made my day with this comment!
Tbh, I end up talking to them about the books I read anyway but they tend to nod along so having legitimate book-related discussions is something that’s still so new to me!

  2. Hi! I was looking through your reviews and LOVED that you broke it into ‘the good’ and ‘the bad’ because that is so useful! Not everyone is going to love everything about every book they read. That being said I’m wondering if you take review requests from indie authors because *wave* I’m an indie author and I just published a YA. If not, don’t worry about it! Still love your blog. 🙂
